The host at the Marrakech riad, the family running the Merzouga desert camp, the guesthouse keeper above Chefchaouen. They know your name before you walk in. They know what time you will arrive, what you like to eat in the morning, whether you need an early breakfast for the drive.

That is not luck. We have spent years building this network one person at a time. We do not work through booking platforms. We work with people, and we only send you to people we know.

Every place we put you up is somewhere we have stayed ourselves. We pick stays for the welcome, the cleanliness, the food, and the location, in that order. A famous riad with bad service does not make our list. A small family-run guesthouse with a host who treats guests like family does.
