Day by Day
Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Marrakech. Airport pickup. Settle into your riad. Sunset at Jemaa el-Fnaa for food stalls and snake charmers. Overnight Marrakech.
Day 2 — Marrakech to Dades. Over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Ait Ben Haddou. Overnight in a Dades kasbah hotel.
Day 3 — Dades to Merzouga. Todra Gorge, east to Merzouga. Camel trek into the dunes at sunset. Overnight in the desert camp.
Day 4 — Sahara to Fes. Sunrise on the dunes. Long drive north through the Ziz Valley and the cedar forests. Arrive Fes by evening. Overnight Fes.
Day 5 — Fes medina. Full-day guided walk. Chouara tannery, Al Quaraouiyine, the souks. Overnight Fes.
Day 6 — Fes to Chefchaouen. Through the Rif Mountains into the blue city. Afternoon free. Sunset at the Spanish Mosque overlook. Overnight Chefchaouen.
Day 7 — Chefchaouen to Tangier. Through the Rif foothills to Tangier. Kasbah, medina, American Legation Museum. Sunset on the Strait. Overnight Tangier.
Day 8 — Tangier to Rabat to Casablanca. South along the Atlantic. Lunch in Rabat with a stop at the Kasbah of the Udayas and Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca. Overnight Casablanca.
Day 9 — Casablanca. Morning at Hassan II Mosque interior tour. Transfer to Mohammed V Airport at your flight time.

Good to Know
Practical notes
- Requires an open-jaw flight booking: into Marrakech (RAK) and out of Casablanca (CMN). Any major booking site supports this.
- Day 4 (Sahara to Fes) and Day 7 (Chefchaouen to Tangier via the scenic mountain road) are the longer driving days. Everything else is 3 to 5 hours with stops.
- If you prefer to fly out of Fes, we cut the Tangier-Rabat-Casablanca leg and shorten the tour to 7 days.
